  If you are looking for a rustic Australian country pub with good food and great atmosphere, Boorowa Hotel and Restaurant ticks all the boxes. We stayed overnight, enjoyed the pub meals and the accommodation. Although it is not 5 star, it was exactly what we were looking for… convenient, economical and clean with friendly and helpful staff.

  The pub was great. I really enjoyed talking with everyone. Great beer selection, and good food. The bartenders were also good. We stayed at the hotel. Not a five star joint but we had a nice night of sleep a warm shower and a 30 meter walk to the room after having some beers and eating dinner. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean. Don't expect the Hyatt. Overall a nice place to drink eat and sleep. Plus Boòrowa is a nice little town. We left early so we did not eat breakfast at the hotel. We went across the street to the bakery. It was also good.

  While there are 2 or 3 good pubs in this town, we decided to have dinner here as it was where we were staying the night after a day of cherry picking in nearby Wombat.
  Prices were quite reasonable, and on the Tuesday night I was there they had a $10 fish, chips and salad special that was great value. My travelling companion had the $26 fish of the day, which happened to be salmon.
  I appreciated my cold schooner of Guinness out the back in their beer garden, and retreated back into the charming and spacious dining room for my meal.
  Service was friendly, obliging and unrushed. I also note that while they took their coronavirus contact tracing obligations seriously, they weren't totally obsessed and jacked up over it, which made me feel all the more welcome. Dinner here was a pleasure, and what a charming old building too!

  Shay's call in is passing through for a meal. Great food, reasonable price, good service, friendly staff. Highly recommend

  For a county pub it is as expected. A few items to work on, but overall an ok experience for a quick dinner.
